Deep in the mountains, secret ninja academies train our future protectors. Ancient scrolls told of three who would be chosen above the others. Three who would become Power Rangers - heroes who defend the Earth from Lothor, an evil ninja master bent on destroying Earth.

Shane is slowly discovering his natural leadership abilities as a Power Ranger. It took a one-on-one battle with a monster for Shane to realize that he needs to rely on his friends to defend the planet. An avid skateboader, he loves a good airborne maneuver, which is apparent by the high flying ninja techniques he has studied at the Wind Ninja Academy. After the academy was destroyed by Lothor, Shane and his friends were given Wind Morphers to protect the planet. As the Red Wind Ranger, Shane fights with the power of the sky and the stars on his side, and pilots the Hawk Zord.

He was a fan of the Power Rangers before becoming one, but his friends dismissed the legendary super heroes as an urban legend. Dustin works at Storm Chargers, and motocrosses in his spare time. During his training at the Wind Ninja Academy, he has mastered underground based fighting techniques. After the academy was destroyed by Lothor, Shane and his friends were given Wind Morphers to protect the planet. As the Yellow Wind Ranger, he derives his power from the Earth, and pilots the Lion Zord. |

As the logical, sensible member of the team, Tori is annoyed by the childish antics of her teammates Dustin and Shane. Tori has an affinity for water, surfing in her spare time and mastering water based fighting techniques while training at the Wind Ninja Academy. After the academy was destroyed by Lothor, Shane and his friends were given Wind Morphers to protect the planet. As the Blue Ranger, Tori relies on the power of water to thwart evil doers, and pilots the Dolphin Zord.

Blake and Hunter - two adopted brothers - grew up at the Thunder Ninja Academy, where they trained since they were children in the art of ninja. On the day Lothor attacked all ninja academies, Blake and Hunter were given Thunder Morphers by their Sensei. Before they could use their new powers, they were captured by Lothor, along with the rest of the academy. Lothor freed the brothers, only to convince them that the Sensei of the Wind Ninja Academy killed their adoptive parents, who were also ninjas. Using the morphers, Blake and Hunter became Thunder Rangers, and made it their mission to destroy the Sensei and his students - the Wind Rangers.
After several battles against the Wind Rangers, the Thunder Rangers finally discovered the truth in the Cavern of Spirits, where the spirits of their deceased parents appeared to them. Their parents told them that it was actually Lothor who killed them. Furious at this deception, the Thunder Rangers turned on Lothor, and joined the Wind Rangers. Blake and Hunter and top level motocrossers, and frequently practice with Dustin, who helped them get jobs at Storm Chargers as stock boys.
Although dark and brooding, Hunter has a strong belief in honor. Upon joining the Wind Rangers, he found himself in competition with Shane, until he learned that a warrior must know when to follow and when to lead. As the Crimson Thunder Ranger, Hunter harnesses the power of thunder, and pilots the Crimson Insectizord.

When he battled the Wind Rangers, Blake found his attraction to Tori conflicting with his mission of vengeance. He ultimately did use her to gain access to Ninja Ops, but not without feeling remorse. As a teammate, he actively pursues his fellow Blue Ranger, sometimes to the chagrin of he brother. As the Navy Thunder Ranger, Blake harnesses the power of thunder, and pilots the Navy Beetlezord. of thunder, and pilots the Navy Beetlezord.
Samurai Power Ranger

Cameron is the sarcastic and sharp-tongued son of the Sensei. Raised by parents who were martial arts masters, Cam is the most focused, disciplined, and skilled fighters of the Rangers. In the beginning, he served only as the technical advisor of the Rangers, monitoring battles from his computer, and sending the Rangers Zords and weapons as needed. He would also keeps an eye on police surveillance, alerting the Rangers to any danger. Cam felt that he got no respect in his position, yearning to be a Ranger himself. However, his father would not allow it, having promised Cam's mother that he would not allow him to follow the ways of the Ninja.
When the Rangers lost their powers to Madtropolis, Cam used the Scroll of Time to travel into the past and retrieve a power source which could rescue them - the Samurai Amulet, a family heirloom in the possession of his mother. In the past, he saw his parents meet at the Wind Ninja Academy, and discovered that he had a hand in the creation of Lothor, after battling a younger version of him for the Samurai Amulet. Having shown its power while worn by Cam, the Samurai Amulet was given to Cam by his mother, who acknowledged him as the true owner. Cam travelled back to present day and used the amulet to become the Green Samurai Ranger, destroying Madtroplis with his Zord - the Samurai Star, and helping the Rangers regain their powers.
The Green Samurai Ranger's Samurai Saber is linked to Ninja Ops' computers, so Cam can remotely send the Rangers Zords and monitor the city. Green Samurai Ranger can power up into Super Samurai Mode, in which the armor is shed, and the visor is rotated.
